haiku poetry

sleep, gray brother of death
as a white candle
splendid and terrible your love
babylon-where i go dreaming
the sky
the body may confine
bring me soft song
he'd even have his joke
do you remember
tripping up, falling down
a thin gray shadow on the edge of thought
storm
