spanish poem

i wonder where you live
just now
and still they walked on
in new york harbor
along a river-side
my mother twines me roses wet with dew
better than granite
give me
this ancient silver bowl of mine
i know not where
beautiful
all those treasures that lie
melancholy, blue it was
