sympathy poem

he came and took me by the hand
full of tears
their beautiful hair
a thousand silent years ago
do i like it
she limps with halting painful pace
i see all human wits
and as we walked the grass was faintly stirred
gone are the three, those sisters rare
renew the vision of delight
god
