thank you poem

a look is but a ray
the poets tell
see i give myself to you
in new york harbor
lived by the river-side
once this soft turf
along a river-side
look back with longing eyes and know that i will follow
stern cold man
i went up and down the streets
to clothe the fiery thought
sad are they who know not love
high walls and huge
