anniversary poem

the saddest of the year
with the sunset
the old west, the old time
and with the humming bird
she burst fierce wine
do you remember
i saw him once before
high-born race
on and on
the shadows of the ships
when i looked into your eyes
why do
quietly, with reverance, in awe
