slam poetry

tell me
sweet splendor
i can not tell you now
but i cannot read you now
i flung my soul to the air like a falcon flying
stir
o fair and stately maid, whose eyes
the darkness rolls upward
up and down he goes
mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam
