life poem

are you awake?
when a deed is done for freedom
i saw the clouds among the hills
i am a woman
looking beyond
i do not pray for peace
made up of loveliness alone
i am fevered
it was the autumn of the year
into the silent land
i am singing to you
it was many and many a year ago
