family poetry

a look is but a ray
she burst fierce wine
i burn no incense
among the smoke and fog of a december afternoon
i had over-prepared the event
which i wish to remark
he speaks not well
my son is dead and i am going blind
for truth, for love
the earth keeps some vibration going
