sad poetry

did you ever see an alligator
a pen of steel
the long resounding marble corridors
behold me, in my chiffon, gauze and tinsel
the meadow was creeping
the light withdrawn
good woman
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
grieve not for the invisible
