slam poetry

now that i have cooled to you
braided and woven
she knows a cheap release
full of tears
babylon-where i go dreaming
like him whose spirit in the blaze of noon
it was a tall young oysterman
stay no more
the shadows of the ships
have you heard
i saw with open eyes
see, they return
