daughter poem

be not false
which i wish to remark
they may talk of love in a cottage
since, if you stood by my side today
it was a tall young oysterman
as a naked man i go
a mile behind
up from the south at break of day
you are clear
with joy and wonder
i have to say good-night
royal feast was done
