missing you poem

their beautiful hair
three days i heard them grieve when i lay dead
made up of loveliness alone
for then without
a sky that has never known sun, moon or stars
what do i owe to you
along the banks
stern cold man
i gazed upon the glorious sky
in his guarded tent
she said
have we no shame?
