prose poetry

of sun nor stars
are you awake?
at dawn, he said
love has been sung a thousand ways
you are my companion
days endeared to every muse
i loved a woman
have you not heard
see, they return
i saw the archangels in my apple-tree last night
happiness
roses and gold
