romantic poem

under a spreading chestnut tree
to the passionate lover
there are three ways in which men take
he's gone
give me hunger
as evening falls
you are clear
i flung my soul to the air like a falcon flying
for truth, for love
when you come tonight
there is an hour of peaceful rest
