funeral poem

a very remarkable history this is
last midnight
in your flight
as a white candle
all my love for my sweet
the agony of having too much power
risen from the dead
look out upon the stars, my love
daughters of time
soft as the bed in the earth
do you hear the rain?
i think it just splendid
