spanish poem

sing again the song you sung
at dawn, he said
the air is full of dawn and spring
by the rude bridge
did you ever see an alligator
do you remember
i make my shroud, but no one knows
better than granite
i saw with open eyes
and so it goes
were it not for that singular smell
