grandmother poem

we who stood
be not false
see, they return
she knows a cheap release
i reside at table mountain
with the sunset
i love to steal awhile away
i am singing to you
a storm is riding on the tide
i have heard them in the night
thou unrelenting past
gaily through the fields we danced
