marriage poem

so lost
up to her chamber window
glooms of the live-oaks
braided and woven
i am a woman
i am in love with high far-seeing places
a thin gray shadow on the edge of thought
i am weary of being bitter and weary of being wise
here falls no light
but alas, just dreams
