good bye poem

i shake my hair in the wind of morning
a pen of steel
in their ragged regimentals
stuff of the moon
the agony of having too much power
the poets tell
they may talk of love in a cottage
the earth keeps some vibration going
sun and wind and beat of sea
rose and amber was the sunset on the river
let us express our baser passions
i never knew the earth had so much gold
had he and i but met
daughters of time
