erotic poem

therefore i may not
i am fevered
babylon-where i go dreaming
be not false
calm as that second summer
when night drifts along the streets of the city
see, they return
the hypocritic days
old wine to drink
in and of itself
i saw god. do you doubt it?
there is a city, builded by no hand
