sad death poem

still thirteen years
in the sphere
i fill this cup
not from the whole wide world
i am in love with high far-seeing places
for truth, for love
burly, dozing humble-bee
before the solemn bronze saint
i am singing to you
afraid no more, i say
splendid and terrible your love
