type of poem

shines the last age, the next with hope is seen
in new york harbor
from floor to ceiling
are you awake?
that year
high-born race
one sweetly solemn thought
these hearts were woven of human joys and cares
against the green flame of the hawthorn-tree
along the banks
i fill this cup
a pen of steel
