could we but know
as evening falls
for truth, for love
perhaps
i fill this cup
in an old chamber softly lit
when a deed is done for freedom
be not angry with me
love has been sung a thousand ways
one by one, like leaves from a tree
to some the fat gods
i see all human wits
this is the arsenal
