graduation poem

be in me as the eternal moods
have we no shame?
through the broad earth's aching breast
last midnight
their beautiful hair
god
full of tears
blossoms of babies
better than granite
the dawn was apple-green
into the silent land
over the river, on the hill
your body's motion is like music
old wine to drink
