fall poetry

the little pitiful, worn, laughing faces
o fair and stately maid, whose eyes
in his guarded tent
why then, must we see?
as it
in mournful numbers
good woman
the sun is up
my soul is a dark ploughed field
so lost
a thin gray shadow on the edge of thought
