haiku poetry

the air is like a butterfly
arched the flood
is there anybody there
sweet splendor
high walls and huge
in the dark and peace of my final bed
the snow whispers about me
they ask me where i've been
we who stood
in september
tell me
gaily through the fields we danced
earth travails
tripping up, falling down
