graduation poem

stay no more
he's gone
winged shadows sweeping by
i have seen the proudest stars
have we no shame?
they may talk of love in a cottage
why do
full of tears
now for a brisk and cheerful fight
i know not where
there are gains for all our losses
give me hunger
tripping up, falling down
