sad death poem

if i were very sure
i have heard that a certain princess
some of the hurts you have cured
high walls and huge
the sky
if i had known how narrow a prison is love
it tells of good old times
that year
the sun is up
before the solemn bronze saint
for then without
a life on the ocean wave
