math poem

give me hunger
rising moon has hid the stars
do the boys and girls still go
at midnight
do not turn your head
for these white arms about my neck
at dawn, he said
old wine to drink
the ships are lying in the bay
lady, your heart has turned to dust
god
roses and gold
