erotic poetry

so lost
i was a goddess ere the marble found me
from floor to ceiling
as a white candle
weak-winged is song
while i stood listening, discreetly dumb
as evening falls
do you remember
you are my companion
when night drifts along the streets of the city
darkest, strangest mystery
