fall poem

take my bracelets
the lightning flashed, and lifted
see the tentative
under dusky laurel leaf
i wonder where you live
tell me
i walk down the garden paths
let us plant
musing, between the sunset and the dark
daughters of time
a look is but a ray
high walls and huge
once this soft turf
