love poetry

at dawn, he said
which keeps
if the red slayer think he slays
star-dust and vaporous light
see the tentative
winged shadows sweeping by
all down the years
among the smoke and fog of a december afternoon
tell me not
your body's motion is like music
just now
melancholy days have come
softly weeping
