love poetry

i fill this cup
sadly speaking
along a river-side
hang no wreath
he'd even have his joke
the single clenched fist lifted and ready
thoughts through my head
beside a stricken field
i cannot always feel his greatness
let us pity those who are better off than we are
sweet and strong
