lyric poetry

why then, must we see?
the body may confine
why so sad my lovely one?
the single clenched fist lifted and ready
storm
behold me, in my chiffon, gauze and tinsel
let a joy keep you
when the veil from the eyes is lifted
i was a goddess ere the marble found me
sweet splendor
how shall i help to right the world that is going wrong
one with you
if i should die, think only this of me
