christian poem

lo! 'tis a gala night
darkest, strangest mystery
i am weary of being bitter and weary of being wise
let us plant
let a joy keep you
little park that i pass through
i shake my hair in the wind of morning
in your arms was still delight
i fill this cup
you say you love me
how like the stars are these white, nameless faces
