suicide poem

weak-winged is song
if i were very sure
as a white candle
come down at dawn from windless hills
daughters of time
perhaps
how wild, how witch-like weird that life should be
these be
therefore i may not
gloom
with joy and wonder
we lay
i wonder where you live
