family poetry

but i cannot read you now
simply speaking
these hearts were woven of human joys and cares
see, they return
stay no more
soft as the bed in the earth
i have heard that a certain princess
these be
very well, you liberals
roses and gold
have we no shame?
i am fevered
beautiful, tragical faces
tell me not
