inspirational poem

storm
lo! 'tis a gala night
the arches of the red bridge
he speaks not well
from song and dream for ever gone
the light withdrawn
rising moon has hid the stars
our pleasant moments fly
along a river-side
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
when i go back to earth
