short funny poem

three years ago today
evidenced in the glimmer in your eyes
before the solemn bronze saint
lo! 'tis a gala night
it tells of good old times
the stars fell from heaven
you are clear
i am old and blind
the sun is up
my soul is a dark ploughed field
