teen poems

the old west, the old time
the light withdrawn
gingham dog and the calico cat
there was never a sound beside the wood but one
looking beyond
the body may confine
full of tears
what was it the engines said
i saw god. do you doubt it?
up to her chamber window
o fair and stately maid, whose eyes
tripping up, falling down
night is dark, and the winter winds
i make my shroud, but no one knows
