thank you poem

the darkness
brother, i am fire
thoughts through my head
i burn no incense
will you glimmer on the sea?
in new york harbor
just now
with lips blood red and heart of stone
sing again the song you sung
fat black bucks in a wine-barrel room
here falls no light
earth travails
white foam flower, red flame flower
