sister poem

renew the vision of delight
what do i owe to you
i saw the first pear
i said
star-dust and vaporous light
she knows a cheap release
are you alive?
here falls no light
i expect you
if i were very sure
sadly speaking
rocked in the cradle of the deep
this ancient silver bowl of mine
