teenage love poem

in may
when sea-winds pierced our solitudes
a blue-black nubian plucking oranges
last night the full moon laid a cloth of white
is there anybody there
musing, between the sunset and the dark
why do
stay no more
out of the window a sea of green trees
the light withdrawn
