halloween poetry

along a river-side
not from the whole wide world
what shall we do now
gaily through the fields we danced
he's gone
a bird sang
out of me unworthy and unknown
i loathed you
as a naked man i go
earth travails
be in me as the eternal moods
a mile behind
he came and took me by the hand
