christmas poetry

it tells of good old times
it was a tall young oysterman
i expect you
passing through huddled and ugly walls
we who stood
with the sunset
through the broad earth's aching breast
storm
see the tentative
i burn no incense
renew the vision of delight
as it
green afternoon serene and bright
