teen poems

my mother twines me roses wet with dew
braided and woven
i love the old melodious lays
they threw a stone, you threw a stone
out of the deep and the dark
therefore i may not
this is the arsenal
i am fevered
she said
she was a beauty in the days
stand here by my side
