baby shower poem

beside a stricken field
here falls no light
we were not many
since i have felt the sense of death
a look is but a ray
mysterious night
the fragrance came
the air is like a butterfly
i have seen the proudest stars
it was many and many a year ago
there's one that i once loved so much
i am a woman
tell me not
