narrative poetry

i never knew the earth had so much gold
the ancient songs
with her hair flaying wildly
take my bracelets
from floor to ceiling
under a spreading chestnut tree
to the passionate lover
i shake my hair in the wind of morning
there are gains for all our losses
muffled drum's sad roll has beat
