son poem

i shall see a star tonight
stern cold man
in their ragged regimentals
i bid them all farewell
in september
weak-winged is song
if the red slayer think he slays
i go my way complacently
they threw a stone, you threw a stone
the light withdrawn
i have heard them in the night
