family poem

i am the wind that wavers
there are three ways in which men take
a little peach in the orchard grew
i saw the archangels in my apple-tree last night
two rows of cabbages
calm as that second summer
and breaketh bread no more
are you alive?
the light withdrawn
a thousand silent years ago
the sun is up
